2017 AGM
This years Flexible Home Improvement Loans Limited AGM will be held on Friday 28 April 2017.
It will be in the Ascot Room, Guildhall, Windsor SL4 1LR and will commence at 09:45. Tea and coffee etc will be available from 09:15.
An Agenda and further information will be sent out nearer the date but, if you have any items for the agenda, please let Dawn or Martyn know.

Credit Checks
Experian, the organisation which provides Credit Reports for StreetUK have recently changed their rules, with the effect that StreetUK can do
searches on borrowers where they are making the loan but not on behalf of third party lenders (ie not local authorities).
We are in the process of setting up an account with Equifax whereby FHIL will provide Credit Reports for member local authorities.
Until this is finalised, please contact Dawn or Martyn if a report is required.

Latest News on Affordable Housing Loans
Funding for our Affordable Housing Loans from the Homes & Communities Agency has now ended (Apparently their focus is now on shared ownership instead of affordable housing).
If funding for AHL loans becomes available in the future, we will let you know.

Revised quotas for 2015-2016 Q4
We have increased the quotas for the current quarter by £200,000; which equates to £12,500 per local authority. The revised figures have been posted to the Download Centre (Miscellaneous).

Quotas for Q4 of 2015/2016
I have uploaded the quotas for the current quarter and the spend during the last quarter to the Download Centre (Miscellaneous). There is a possibility we may be able to increase the quotas in a few weeks and I will let you know if this happens.

Occupants who are not owners
We have made a change to the FHIL Application Forms requesting the names of occupants, or prospective occupants, who are not owners of the property. Any people so named will be asked to sign a letter acknowledging the terms of the loan and the receipt of their acknowledgement will be a condition of the loan.
Please download the new application forms (v2.4 2015) and destroy any old application forms you still hold.
There has also been a small addition to clause 8.2 on page 11 of the Procedures & Compliance Manual which reads, “If the signed acknowledgement letter(s) have not been received before the Mortgage Offer is issued, ensure there is a clause in the Special Conditions stating that the Offer is conditional upon them being received.”
